Most Actors Have Been Through This
Your Headshots Don't Look Like You
Over-retouched, over-styled, and nothing like who walks into the audition room. Casting directors notice and it costs you callbacks.
No Direction. No Coaching.
You showed up, stood in front of a camera, and got no coaching. The result: stiff, generic shots that could be anyone.
You're Tired of Starting Over
New agent, new shots. New look, new shots. You've spent hundreds, maybe thousands and still don't have images you trust.
The Difference Direction Makes
The goal is not to make you look like someone else. It is to bring out the strongest version of you for the roles you want.

I've Been On That Side of the Camera Too
I'm a trained actor myself. I've been on the other side of the camera, and I know what it feels like to show up to a shoot with no direction and leave with images that don't represent you.
I work with actors at every level, from first headshots to full portfolio rebuilds. Every look is planned, every expression is coached, and you walk out with images you're confident to submit.

Common Questions
What should I wear?
Wardrobe is planned before your session. Casting Portfolio and Ultimate Portfolio clients get a dedicated Look Plan call on Zoom where we build a shared Pinterest board and map outfits to every look. Audition Ready clients receive a wardrobe guide in advance so you know exactly what to bring.
How long does the shoot take?
It depends on the portfolio you choose. The Audition Ready runs about 60 minutes. The Casting Portfolio and Ultimate Portfolio are longer days. Plan for 2 to 3 hours. That includes the full shoot plus a guided image selection session before you leave, where we go through your photos together and narrow down your final portfolio. You won’t leave without knowing exactly what you’re getting.
Do I need an agent before getting headshots?
No. Many actors come to me before they have representation. Strong headshots are often what helps you get signed in the first place.
What if I don't know my type or what I need?
That’s what the strategy call is for. We talk through your goals, the roles you’re going after, and what casting directors need to see. You don’t need to have it figured out before you come in.
Do you retouch the images?
Yes. Every image in your portfolio is professionally retouched. Before I retouch anything, we go through your selected images together and I ask what you’d like improved. I’ll also tell you what I typically address; things like blemishes, stray hairs, and dark circles so we’re aligned before I start. The goal is to look like you on your best day, not over-edited or unrealistic.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring a friend, partner, or parent. Whatever helps you feel comfortable.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. The Casting Portfolio and Ultimate Portfolio are both available on a 6-month payment plan. A small premium applies to the total. Your first payment confirms your session.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your payment reserves your session and is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, give me at least 3 business days’ notice and we’ll find a new date that works.
